Floyd Family Orthodontics in Oregon is seeking a friendly Orthodontic Assistant to join our expanding practice. You will work with a talented team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced orthodontic setting, while growing your career alongside specialists.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting during treatment, taking radiographs and scans, preparing rooms, documenting care in electronic records, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification is required.
• EFODA certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, digital scans, and intraoral photographs.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and equipment.
• Accurately document patient care in electronic records.
• Assist with orthodontic treatment procedures and appliance adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment.
• Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, and company policies and procedures.
