Bishop Family Dental in Holladay, Utah is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. The role emphasizes compassionate care, efficient chairside support, and room preparation to ensure smooth procedures.

Join a Team Where Your Skills, Effort & Patient Care Are Truly Valued
Are you an exceptional Dental Assistant who wants to be more than just another employee in a dental office?
We are looking for a caring, dependable, energetic Dental Assistant—preferably with Expanded Functions experience or certification to become an important part of our dental team.
We believe the best dental practices are built by great people.
That means creating an environment where team members support one another, patients are treated with genuine care and respect, and talented employees have opportunities to grow, contribute, and be rewarded for the value they bring to the practice.
If you are someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, works well with a team, and wants to be part of a practice where your contribution matters, we would love to meet you.
We want our office to be a place where talented people can do excellent work without unnecessary drama, negativity, or feeling unappreciated.
We value:
You will be joining a practice where we believe culture matters just as much as clinical ability.
Our patients are not numbers on a schedule.
We want every patient to feel cared for, listened to, comfortable, and confident that they are receiving excellent treatment.
A great Dental Assistant plays an enormous role in that experience.
We are looking for someone who can help turn an anxious patient into a comfortable one, anticipate what the doctor needs, keep treatment flowing efficiently, and help patients leave feeling that they were genuinely cared for.
We believe exceptional employees should have the opportunity to benefit from exceptional performance.
In addition to competitive base compensation, this position includes the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses for helping the practice and team achieve meaningful goals.
We are especially interested in assistants who want to continue improving their skills and become increasingly valuable members of the practice.
An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant / EFDA is strongly preferred.
If you have expanded-function capabilities, we want to utilize those skills rather than having you perform below your training and potential.
Depending on your qualifications and applicable state regulations, expanded-function experience may include areas such as:
Exceptional Dental Assistants without expanded-functions credentials may also be considered if they demonstrate outstanding clinical ability, attitude, reliability, patient communication, and a desire to grow.
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, expanded-function capabilities, clinical skill, and the value you can bring to the practice.
Applicants with strong EFDA/expanded-functions capabilities may qualify for higher compensation.
The person we hire should be someone who:
You may be an excellent fit if people describe you as:
Caring. Reliable. Capable. Positive. Motivated. Detail-oriented. Professional. A team player.
You notice what needs to be done and do it.
You care about whether the patient had a good experience.
You want your doctor and teammates to be able to rely on you.
You don't believe "that's not my job" is the answer when the team needs reasonable help.
And you want to work somewhere that recognizes the difference between someone who simply shows up and someone who consistently contributes.
We are willing to consider candidates with different backgrounds when they demonstrate the attitude, aptitude, work ethic, and interpersonal skills we are seeking.
You are simply looking for somewhere to collect a paycheck.
You frequently arrive late or miss work.
You dislike helping teammates.
You become negative when the office gets busy.
You need to be continually reminded to complete basic responsibilities.
Or you don't enjoy interacting with patients.
We are looking for someone who wants to be an important part of an excellent dental team.
