An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant / EFDA is strongly preferred.
If you have expanded-function capabilities, we want to utilize those skills rather than having you perform below your training and potential.
Depending on your qualifications and applicable state regulations, expanded-function experience may include areas such as:
- Restorative procedures
- Placement and finishing of restorations
- Impressions and scanning
- Temporary restorations and crowns
- Sealants
- Coronal polishing
- Other legally permitted expanded duties
Exceptional Dental Assistants without expanded-functions credentials may also be considered if they demonstrate outstanding clinical ability, attitude, reliability, patient communication, and a desire to grow.
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, expanded-function capabilities, clinical skill, and the value you can bring to the practice.
Applicants with strong EFDA/expanded-functions capabilities may qualify for higher compensation.

- Dental assisting experience
- Expanded Functions / EFDA certification or experience
- Current dental radiology qualifications where required
- CPR/BLS certification
