Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Dental Group Ridgeway is seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant. Under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist, you will perform chairside support, patient preparation, and basic sterile processing.

This full-time role offers on-the-job training, exposure to dental procedures and infection control, and support for pursuing New York State registration. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with opportunities to grow within the practice.

Qualifications

• Active BLS or within three months of hire.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in sterile processing or dental practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical support & chairside assistance under supervision.
• Sterilize and organize instruments in accordance with infection control standards.
• Manage patient records and assist with appointment scheduling and reception duties.
• Escort patients, provide comfort measures and give general instructions.
