Job summary

Aspen Dental in Ottumwa, IA is seeking an Entry-Level Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients. You will help with procedures, set up operatories, and learn radiology safety with our DANB training program.

This role offers hands-on experience in a supportive team environment. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling, paid training, and the chance to advance toward CDA certification, plus benefits such as PTO, health/vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

  • Obtain radiology and safety certification within the state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and break down operatory post treatment.
  • Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Support patient charting for Doctors.
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Salary: $17 - $17.50 / hour
