Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Endodontist Dental Assistant to support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors across select locations. You will assist the specialist chair-side during procedures and help maximize career potential within a collaborative team.

Role includes travel to nearby offices, X-ray capture, operatory setup/breakdown, infection control, and patient education on oral health. Flexible scheduling and a supportive culture are offered.

• Must have an active license/registration or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Endodontist chair-side during treatments.
• Travel to nearby Aspen Dental offices to support patient care.
• Take dental X-rays and ensure proper operatory setup and breakdown.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments/equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare.

Salary: $32 / hour Job Type: Part-Time (Tuesday and/or Wednesday, 7am-5pm)

How You’ll Make a Difference

As an Endodontist Dental Assistant, you will help support the clinical needs of the practice’s patients and doctors. You will assist the Specialist chair-side, as needed, during treatment procedures. You will have the support you need to maximize your career potential and help make a difference in your community one smile at a time.

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care**
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• High school diploma or equivalent
