Elizabethtown Dentistry for Children in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring a Dental Assistant. This role supports the dentist chairside, prepares instruments, maintains a sterile environment, and helps manage patient flow with care and compassion.

The position offers a Monday- Friday schedule with some weekend flexibility, a pay range of $17-$20 per hour based on experience, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; dental assistant school preferred.
• Certification in Dental Assisting and Dental X-Ray is preferred/required.
• Knowledge of instruments and sterilization procedures is essential.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations is expected.
• Excellent communication and reliable, detail-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comforting experience for patients during treatments and checkups.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with the dentist chairside to support procedures with precision and efficiency.
• Undertake tasks as instructed and keep the dental room clean and stocked.
• Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
