Job summary

Espire Dental in Colorado is seeking a passionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. You will support dentists, prepare patients, ensure infection control, and help with x-rays and record-keeping in a friendly, patient-focused environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training opportunities (potential travel), and the use of digital tools like EMR, Cerec, and 3Shape. EDDA certification is required to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• EDDA certification is required.
• Familiarity with Cerec, 3Shape, and intraoral scanning is a plus.
• Experience with sedation and dental implants a plus.
• Willingness to travel for training.
• Experience using digital technology and EMR.
• Ability to build trust with team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental work.
• Assist dentists and manage emergencies when needed.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments.
• Record treatment and patient vital signs.
• Expose dental X-rays and care for X-ray equipment.
• Provide postoperative instructions and patient education.
• Assist dental hygienists with procedures.
• Order supplies and maintain equipment inventory.
• Fabricate temporary restorations as needed.
