Job summary

FHLB Des Moines is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering exceptional patient care. You will prepare operatory, assist during examinations, and help with treatment documentation in both electronic and paper records.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential to maintain comfort and safety for every patient. The role requires CPR certification and either RDA or CDA license, with 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to parent and patient using the prescribed treatment plan.
• Must recognize prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
• Provide documentation of all treatment using electronic and paper dental records and forms.
