Job summary

Confidential Dental Practice is seeking a dependable Dental Assistant with a friendly, patient-focused approach to join our team in Bandera, TX. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude and a strong work ethic.

The ideal candidate will assist dentists, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take digital X-rays, and help maintain a smooth, organized clinical area while supporting front desk staff and delivering a positive patient

Qualifications

• Experience in dental assisting preferred but not required
• Positive, professional and dependable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
• Radiology certification and CPR certification preferred, as required by state

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
• Take digital X-rays and document accurate clinical notes
• Review post-treatment instructions with patients
• Maintain supplies and help keep the clinical area organized
• Support the front office and other team members when needed
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures

• Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control protocols
• Taking digital X-rays and documenting accurate clinical notes
• Reviewing post-treatment instructions with patients
• Maintaining supplies and helping keep the clinical area organized
• Supporting the front office and other team members when needed
• Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
