Job summary

Palms Medical Group in Alabama is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and clinical staff. You’ll help with patient care, instrument prep, and post-operative instructions while maintaining infection control and accurate charting.

Ideal candidates will be organized, able to work independently or with a team, and willing to travel to other sites as needed. A Certified Dental Assistant program and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Dental Assistant program with Expanded Functions
• Current BLS (basic life support) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and clinical staff during procedures.
• Prepare instrument trays and dental materials.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize equipment.
• Record dental treatment details in patient charts.
• Educate patients on post-operative care.
