Job summary

The Indian Health Service is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists in a federally run program aimed at improving oral health for American Indian and Alaska Native communities. You will assist with restorative and surgical procedures, sterilize instruments, take and process radiographs, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Responsibilities include clinic operations support, managing supplies, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced dental setting at various IHS facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental assisting or relevant training.
• Ability to maintain aseptic technique.
• Ability to expose and process dental radiographs.
