Job summary

FPCSN is seeking a Dental Assistant in Philadelphia to support clinical care by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, and by providing chair-side assistance to dentists. You will educate patients, manage workflows, and help ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of Dental Assistant experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program with 2+ years experience (preferred).
• Must obtain Dental X-ray Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and deliver instruments; prepare treatment areas.
• Educate patients on procedures and manage patient flow.
• Record patient health information in the electronic health record.
• Assist dentist during treatment and anticipate dentist's needs.
• Maintain dental instruments, supplies, and lab work.
• Coordinate lab cases and ensure timely returns.
