Job summary

Southside is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant in Atlanta, GA to support the dentist in delivering patient care and maintaining patient records. This role includes chair side assistance and basic clerical duties.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program with 6 months to 1 year of experience; strong computer skills and ability to train students are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Six months to one-year experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Ability to assist Dentists with all procedures and to take and develop x-rays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist at chair side during examinations and treatments.
• Schedule dental patients and reschedule appointments as needed; update records.
• Order dental supplies and keep stock of necessary items.
• Maintain dental operatories in a clean and efficient state.
• Maintain Electronic Digital Record (EDR) of procedures and patient information.
