Job summary

Pascua Yaqui Tribe is seeking a Dental Assistant to support chair-side procedures across restorative, preventive, and surgical dental services. You will work in a large clinical setting with trainees, ensuring instrument sterilization, radiography, and patient care are performed to standard.

Responsibilities include patient greetings, scheduling, radiographs, charting, and assisting dentists during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, schedule appointments, answer calls and route as appropriate.
• Prepare, arrange and sterilize instruments, materials, and trays for each treatment.
• Assist dentist at chair-side and pass instruments; maintain a clean operative area.
• Take intra- and extra-oral radiographs and develop films.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and participate in outreach events.
