Job summary
Rock Dental Brands in Nashville is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support dentists during examinations and treatments, preparing operatory and equipment, and ensuring high quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant credential, CPR, and at least 1 year of experience; must communicate clearly with patients and parents; and commit to maintaining sterile, organized clinical spaces.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
- CPR is required.
- Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
- 1+ years of dental assisting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with patients to ensure high quality care.
- Perform clinical and technical procedures under direct supervision.
- Prepare patient operatory and equipment, and assist during examination and treatment.
- Communicate treatment needs clearly to patient and parent using the treatment plan.
- Document all treatment rendered in dental records (electronic and paper).
- Housekeeping and restocking duties as needed.
