Blue Ash Smiles is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists during procedures and ensure high-quality patient care in a modern practice. You will prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, take X-rays, and contribute to accurate patient records while delivering clear post-procedure care instructions.

The role requires 1+ year of dental assisting experience, high school diploma, CPR and X-ray certification, with preferred experience using Open Dental.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
• Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid x-ray certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• At least 1 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
• Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep.
• Ability to set up and break down operatories.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred.
