Job summary

YKHC Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in rural Alaska offers a Dental Assistant Apprentice program. You will train in practical skills and help maintain an efficiently operating dental clinic as you work toward full qualification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 6 months of work experience.
• CPR and Radiology certification must be acquired within 2 months of hire date.
• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments.
• Understanding dental anatomy and basic instrument handling.

Responsibilities

• Train in practical skills to become a qualified Dental Assistant.
• Assist in maintaining an efficiently operating dental clinic.
