Bay Area Endo in Clearwater, FL, seeks a skilled Dental Assistant to join a busy specialty practice. You will support the Dentist with 4-handed dentistry, prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and maintain records. Strong communication and attention to safety are essential.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of dental assisting experience, and must be able to stand for extended periods while assisting with procedures and patient care. Pay depends on experience. Base pay range shown below.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of proven dental assistant experience, specialty preferred
• Pay depends on experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Must have a high school diploma
• Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
• Active state radiology license (if required by law)
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment
• Must be able to assist patients safely in/out of chairs
• Must be able to maintain clinical positioning
• Must be able to work around medical equipment
• Must be able to adhere to OSHA/infection control standards
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand/wrist movements
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergencies

Aufgaben

• Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort
• Set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Sterilize instruments per regulations
• Assist dentist in 4-handed dentistry
• Provide oral hygiene and post-op care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and stocked
• Schedule appointments and post-op visits
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with payment procedures
• Coordinate other office responsibilities as needed
