Job summary

42 North Dental in Worcester, MA is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to support dentists, greet patients, and maintain a positive patient experience. You’ll assist chairside, expose radiographs, and help with instrument prep and sterilization while upholding infection control standards.

Ideal candidates know dental terminology, have or are pursuing CDA credentials, and can work well in a team. This role offers part-time hours with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred and state licensure requirements.
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and assist dentists.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA compliance.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork as providers may change.
