Job summary

KZ Dentistry in Washington, DC is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant for a part-time role. You will assist chairside during procedures, set up and clean rooms, sterilize instruments, take diagnostic radiographs, pour impressions, and fabricate models to support the general dentistry team.

Ideal candidates are friendly team players who value high-quality patient care and a collaborative work environment. The hours are 1–3 days per week with potential to transition to full-time in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience with general dentistry procedures and patient care.
• Comfort with chairside assisting during restorations, RCTs, implants.
• Ability to take diagnostic radiographs and impressions.
• Maintain clean, safe clinical environment.

At our established Family and Cosmetic Dental office, we've been providing top-quality care to our patients for over 20 years. Our team values professionalism, kindness, and a family-like environment where both patients and team members are treated with the utmost care and respect.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. This part-time position has the potential to transition into full-time hours. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with the full scope of general dentistry, including but not limited to:

• Chairside assisting with procedures such as Composite Restorations, Extractions, Crown & Bridge work, Root Canal Therapy (RCT), Implants, and more.
• Setting up and cleaning rooms for patient treatments.
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Taking diagnostic radiographs and alginate impressions.
• Pouring impressions and fabricating models.
• Performing Child & Adult Prophies.

Additional skills, such as experience with packing cords and temporary restorations or more advanced dental procedures, are a plus but not required.

Available Hours

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Choose the days that work best for you (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
