ONE Health Ohio is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Dentist during chairside examinations and treatments. The role includes dental lab tasks and clerical duties for the dental program.

Responsibilities include radiographs, patient health history, data entry in EDR, instrument sterilization, and ensuring supplies for procedures. PTO and holidays are provided; nights and weekends are not required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Ohio Radiology license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR.

Mansioni

• Take appropriate readable radiographs as directed by the Dentist.
• Assist the Dentist at chairside examinations and treatment of patient.
• Assist in the dental lab and perform clerical duties related to the dental program.
• Enter treatment plans and other data into the EDR under the Dentist supervision.
• Obtain accurate health history and updates on patients at every visit, including blood pressure.
• Sterilize dental instruments using the autoclave per manufacturer's recommendations.
• Ensure dental instruments are available for each procedure.
• Complete tasks in EDR as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

The dental assistant will assist the Dentist at chairside examinations and treatment of patient. The position involves assisting in the dental lab and performing clerical duties related to the dental program.

• Take appropriate readable radiographs as directed by the Dentist.
• Provide education, overseen by the Dentist regarding procedures
• Charting existing dental conditions in the EDR.
• Complete tasks in EDR as assigned.
• Be proficient in entering data such as treatment plans into EDR under the Dentist supervision.
• Obtain accurate health history and updates on patients at every visit, including blood pressure.
• Ensure the appropriate dental instruments are available for each procedure.
• Sterilize dental instruments using the autoclave per manufacturer's recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned
