Job summary

DOCS Health in Texas is seeking Dental Assistants to partner on exams, treatments, and X-rays for military service members, working primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays in Texas, on an as-needed basis.

You will provide dental services in mobile units, digital radiography, and sterilization, supporting a deployable force in coordination with US Army Reserve, National Guard, Navy Reserve, and other branches.

Qualifications

• Active dental assistant certification in Texas is required.
• Radiology certification must be current.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with sterilization and chair-side assisting preferred.
• Military healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and basic administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Take and interpret Digital x-rays (BW & PANO).
• Ensure sterilization of instruments and maintain clinical readiness.
• Assist with scheduling and basic record-keeping on weekends.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Texas on an "as needed basis".

We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Provide Digital x-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Provide sterilization of instruments.

Requirements

• Active Dental Assistant Certification in the state (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA)

• Comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting
• Experience with sterilization
• Experience with basic administrative functions
• Experience working with military - preferred
