Job summary

Super Smiles 4 Kids is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team. You will support the dentist during exams and procedures, handle administrative tasks like scheduling, and help create a welcoming experience for our young patients. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and X-ray certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Must have at least 1-2 years dental assisting experience.
• Open Dental software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
