Job summary

Aspen Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in Indiana. You will support clinicians, take x-rays, prepare operatory, ensure infection control, and help manage patient flow and charting. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations; perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
