Job summary

Riverfront Dental Care in Toms River, NJ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who focuses on patient comfort and quality care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist doctors, take digital X-rays, and support Invisalign workflows using CEREC technology.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of dental assisting, a current Dental Assistant Certification, and a valid X-Ray License. Dentrix exposure and iTero scanning experience are a plus in a collaborative, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• Current Dental Assistant Certification.
• Current X-Ray License is required.
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during dental procedures.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Capture iTero digital scans.
• Assist with Invisalign treatment workflows.
• Support same-day dentistry using CEREC technology.
• Educate patients before and after treatment.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

Schedule

• Monday 6:45 am -5 pm
• Tuesday 7:45 am -6 pm
• Wednesday 6:45 am -5 pm
• Friday 6:45 am -2 pm

Compensation

• $25.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Take high-quality digital radiographs
• Capture accurate iTero digital scans
• Assist with Invisalign treatment workflows
• Support same-day dentistry using CEREC technology
• Educate patients before and after treatment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Current Dental Assistant Certification
• Current X-Ray License (required)
• Experience with CEREC a plus
• Familiarity with Dentrix practice management software is a plus
