The Hyde Park Center for Aesthetic Dentistry in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join a boutique practice supporting a single doctor with autonomy and professionalism. The role emphasizes treatment presentation, precise instrument handling, and patient-first care in a calm environment.

Schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 6:00pm with a 60-minute lunch; full-time benefits include 401K, PTO, holidays, life/AD&D, medical/dental/vision, short-term disability, pet

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental assisting experience, including cosmetic dentistry
• Experience with X-rays and making temporary crowns
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software, preferably Eaglesoft or Denticon
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and sterilize instruments
• Set up instrumentation, equipment and dental materials as needed
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

The Hyde Park Center for Aesthetic Dentistry is now hiring a Dental Assistant in Tampa, Florida!

We are a boutique aesthetic and cosmetic dental practice located in the heart of Hyde Park, one of Tampa’s most desirable and walkable neighborhoods, surrounded by great restaurants and local shops. Our small but mighty team supports a single doctor in a calm, focused environment where exceptional, patient-first care is always the priority.

This role is ideal for a detail-driven, experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work and is eager to be the doctor’s right hand, fully owning the clinical area and supporting all clinical needs with confidence and professionalism. You should be highly skilled, comfortable with treatment presentation, and able to work with autonomy while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
