Job summary

Tranquility Dental Wellness is seeking a dedicated dental professional to prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists and hygienists. You will support infection control, manage patient records, and contribute to a high-quality patient experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and compassionate patient care in a friendly, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Love what you do and bring passion for dentistry.
• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments.
• Cerec knowledge and intraoral scanning are a plus.
• Experience with sedation and dental implants is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel for training and development.
• Experience using digital records (EMR) and digital technology.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and setting up trays.
• Assisting dentists with emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting dental hygienists as needed.
• Providing excellent patient care and recording treatment data.
• Exposing dental X-rays and managing X-ray equipment.

• Experience with sedation and dental implant placement and restoration a plus

What You Will Be Doing

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
• Providing great patient care.
• Recording treatment information in patient records.
• Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
• Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Caring for dental equipment.
• Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
• Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
