Job summary

DOCS Health in New Mexico seeks Dental Assistants to support mobile dental services for military members, delivering exams, treatments, and digital X-rays on weekends with some weekday coverage as needed.

Active NM Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA), radiology cert., CPR/BLS, and 4-handed chair-side proficiency are required, along with sterilization and basic admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a dental assistant in NM (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) is required.
• Active radiology certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting is required.
• Experience with sterilization is required.
• Experience with basic administrative functions is preferred.
• Experience working with military is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer programs is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Attention all Dental Assistants, we are calling on you to partner with us to complete dental exams, treatment, and X-rays to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of New Mexico on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Provide Digital x-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Provide sterilization of instruments.

Requirements
