Job summary

Gentle Dental Springfield is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join a team that values patient comfort, teamwork, and great care. You’ll support the doctor, keep the day moving, and help patients feel relaxed and cared for.

Location: 227 Q Street, Springfield, OR 97477. Schedule: Full-Time. Pay: $24.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO, and 401(k).

We mentor team members and support ongoing learning in dentistry.

Qualifications

• Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program.
• Valid healthcare CPR/BLS certification.
• Prior dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and chair-side support.
• Keep the schedule moving and ensure patient comfort.
• Help patients feel relaxed and cared for throughout visits.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a smooth workflow.

• X-ray certification
• Bilingual Spanish skills
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), when applicable
