Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Washington state is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team with procedures, instrument prep, and patient care. The role requires ensuring clean, organized work areas and efficient workflow in a fast-paced practice.

The ideal candidate will have Washington RDA active, BLS certification, knowledge of infection control, and strong communication skills to educate patients and maintain high care standards. Competitive hourly compensation offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using dexis software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

Schedule (days/hours)

Tues - Th 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
