Job summary

Carmel Mountain Dental in San Diego, CA is seeking a friendly dental assistant to improve office efficiency and patient comfort. You will support the dentist during procedures, greet patients, and help keep the front and back offices running smoothly.

You'll welcome patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, and assist with four-handed dentistry. Training is available for the right candidate, and a background in dental instruments is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year dental chairside assisting; training available for right candidate.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• X-ray and coronal polishing capabilities.
• Strong computer skills and good communication with patients.
