Job summary

Andrew J Bliss DDS PC is seeking a friendly, experienced Dental Assistant to join the team Monday through Thursday, with every other Friday. You will assist the dentist during exams, manage scheduling, and perform administrative tasks while ensuring a welcoming, family-like experience for patients.

The ideal candidate brings prior Dental Assistant experience and is motivated, reliable, and committed to high-quality patient care in a busy clinic setting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and patient service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prep patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable.
• Explain the dental care plan and address questions from patients.
• Record vital signs and medical history accurately.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for dentist use during exams and procedures.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
• Schedule patient appointments.
