Midway Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Part Time Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. The position offers flexible scheduling, working one day per week (Wednesdays 7:45AM - 4:00PM) with a 1 hour lunch, and opportunities for growth within a patient-centric practice.

The role involves chairside assistance, patient welcoming, preparation for treatments, instrument setup, sterilization, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant training/school certification.
• Expanded Functions 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Experience with digital software.
• Excellent interpersonal skill.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside.
• Welcomes patients.
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort.
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed.
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations.
• Maintains accurate patient records.
• Lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories.
