Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support advanced dental implant procedures and provide excellent patient care. You’ll sterilize, prepare instruments, take X‑rays, and assist the prosthodontist chair-side while keeping the clinic efficient and welcoming.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Valid state certifications meet applicable requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist prosthodontist in advanced dental procedures, including implants
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
• Provide chair-side assistance and keep the treatment area organized
• Educate patients and ensure comfort throughout visits
• Take dental X-rays and assist with radiographs
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Assist with post-operative patient care instructions
• Support inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Handle scheduling, patient reception, and records management
• Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, and education consultants
• Assist in areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $34 - $36 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
