Job summary

Gentle Dental is opening a brand-new dental practice in Roseburg, Oregon, and seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to join the team from day one. This full-time role offers variety, growth, and the chance to help establish a welcoming patient experience in a new office opening in January 2027.

You’ll assist with procedures, prepare rooms and instruments, take radiographs where certified, educate patients, and maintain infection control while delivering high-quality care in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take dental radiographs and perform expanded functions as permitted by your certifications.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment procedures, and post-operative care.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Work closely with providers and teammates to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Gentle Dental is preparing to open a brand-new dental practice in Roseburg, Oregon, with an anticipated opening in January 2027! We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team and help create an exceptional experience for patients from day one. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a new practice, build strong relationships with your providers and teammates, and become part of a supportive, patient-focused environment. What You'll Do

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-Time
• Pay: $22–$27 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
• Location: Roseburg, Oregon
• Anticipated Opening: January 2027

Required Qualifications

• Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program
• Current healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification

Qualifications That May Increase Starting Pay

• Bilingual Spanish skills
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential, where applicable
