Job summary

Smart Arches Dental Implant Centers in Rockville, MD is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dentists during implant surgeries and restorative procedures.

We value meticulous patient care, strong instrument knowledge, and inventory management. The role involves scheduling, post-op care guidance, basic lab work, and maintaining a clean, compliant environment per OSHA/HIPAA/CDC guidelines. Flexible 3 days per week schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license required.
• Experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably with implants/restorative dentistry; 1+ years preferred.
• AOX experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic lab procedures and manage inventory.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to patient care and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to varying duties.
• Some scheduling flexibility required.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental instruments and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
• Manage inventory control in the operatories, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and organized.
• Strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Deliver exceptional patient interactions, including scheduling appointments, providing follow-up treatment information, post-surgical care instructions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.
• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas and treatment rooms.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the center.

Part Time

Responsibilities
