Job summary

Carolina Smile Design in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join a patient-focused team. The role involves assisting dentists chairside, preparing patients, and maintaining instruments and records in a supportive, modern practice.

The ideal candidate will hold an active SC dental assistant license, have 2+ years of dental assisting experience, and be familiar with sterilization, health & safety regulations, and dental software.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina dental assistant license.
• Dental Assistant training/school certification.
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside and prepare patients for treatments or checkups.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials as needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations and maintain clean operatories.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule

Monday & Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Thursday: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Every other Friday: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Breaks

1-hour lunch on Monday and Tuesday

30-minute break on Thursday and every other Friday
