Desert Valley Dental in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Hygienist Assistant to join our professional team. You will assist the Hygienist, capture dental images, and prepare materials while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, supports the clinical needs of doctors, and adheres to OSHA guidelines. A high school diploma and dependable transportation are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental equipment.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must have dependable transportation and be reliable and punctual.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting the Hygienist with dental procedures
• Taking dental images (X-Rays, intra-oral photos, CT Scans)
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments following OSHA requirements
• Providing clinical information and education to patients about dental procedures and health-related matters
• Periodontal charting
• Polishing teeth
• Build and maintain positive, professional, and good relationships with team members and patients

Salary Range: $15.00 To $19.00 Hourly

As Dental Assistants, you are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our patients and helping to support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Hygienist with dental procedures
• Taking dental images (X-Rays, intra-oral photos, CT Scans)
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments following OSHA requirements
• Providing clinical information and education to patients about dental procedures and health-related matters
• Periodontal charting
• Polishing teeth
• Build and maintain positive, professional, and good relationships with team members and patients

Experience and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental equipment
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Must have dependable transportation (we have multiple locations), and be reliable and punctual.
