Job summary

Specialty1 Partners is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant for our North Penn Endo - Quakertown office. You will support the Dentist with four-handed dentistry, patient comfort, sterilization, records, and payments, while ensuring a world-class patient experience in a busy specialty practice.

The role requires 1+ years of dental assisting, knowledge of instruments, OSHA standards, and strong communication. Office hours are Mon-Thu 7:00–3:30, Fri 7:00–2:00, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years as dental assistant, specialty preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients to the dental office.
  • Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring comfort.
  • Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Sterilizing instruments per regulations.
  • Assisting dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
  • Giving oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Keeping the dental room clean and stocked.
  • Scheduling appointments and post-op visits.

Our office, North Penn Endo - Quakertown, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice.

We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities

You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist’s shoulders. You will be focused on ensuring that the patients' needs, concerns, and questions are answered. You will help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, being the patients go to resource during their visit which includes the following:

  • Welcoming patients to the dental office
  • Preparing patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
  • Selecting and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
  • Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Scheduling appointments and post op visits
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Assisting with payment procedures

As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Schedule Requirements
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • At least 1+ years of proven experience as dental assistant, specialty preferred
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • A high school diploma
  • A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
  • An active state radiology license (if required by law)
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment
  • Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
  • Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
  • Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
