Job summary

Parker Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in Parker, CO. You will work with a skilled group, performing patient care tasks, taking x-rays, and helping ensure a smooth patient experience in a modern practice.

You’ll join a clinic committed to clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and community care, with opportunities for CE units and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines while complying with state, federal and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
