Job description

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Ocala, FL to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $18-31/hour with working hours of:

MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS: 7:30am - 5:00pm

WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS: 6:30am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Updating and maintaining patient dental records
  • Charting in OpenDental
  • Performing routine dental cleanings and assisting the dentist with complex procedures
  • Taking and processing X-rays
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Advising patients on oral hygiene

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Radiology certification
  • Previous dental assisting experience (preferred)
  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
  • CDA or Expanded Functions certification (highly preferred)
