Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team in Charleston. You will work with kids and teens to ensure a friendly, stress-free experience while supporting dentists and caregivers with care delivery.

The ideal candidate has dental assisting certification and a passion for making dental visits enjoyable. This is a full-time position with daytime shifts and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric dentistry is required or strongly preferred.
• CDA/RDA/EFDA/EDDA certification is a plus.
• Graduation from a dental assisting program is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming ke y sections: greet pediatric patients and set positive tone for visits.
• Assist dentists and caregivers during procedures to ensure efficient care.
• Create a fun, kid-friendly environment and keep patients comfortable and engaged.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and accurate documentation throughout the visit.

Requirements:

• Experience required!
• X-Ray, CDA, RDA, EFDA, or EDDA certification is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.
• Graduation from a dental assisting school is a plus.
• Full-time role (30+ hours per week).
• State licensure/certification may be required depending on location.

A Typical Day as a Pediatric Dental Assistant:

• Welcoming kiddos and making them feel comfortable.
• Assisting caregivers and doctors in providing top-notch care.
• Creating a fun and engaging experience for each patient.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours – No nights!
