Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs and assist doctors. You will receive thorough training, competitive pay, and a schedule that supports work–life balance in a community-focused environment.

As a Dental Assistant, you will help with procedures, take x-rays, maintain infection control, and assist with patient education and charting. Join a team that values collaboration and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/registration or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
