The Smilist is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our Whitestone, NY practice. You will assist doctors, maintain a sterile environment, and prepare patients for procedures while supporting a high-quality dental care team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (min 1 year).
• Endo, OS, and iTero scanning experience a plus.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing concerns and highlighting doctor strengths.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients and assist doctors for efficient dental care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for procedures and manage supply levels in each operatory; reorder as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• Endo, OS, and iTero scanning experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - some Saturday availability
• Salary Range:$24.00-$28.00/hour
