Job summary

Digital Dentistry of NM is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our Albuquerque team. You will sterilize, prep rooms, take X-rays, and assist the dentist during procedures while supporting patient flow and lab case organization.

The ideal candidate has X-ray and CPR certifications, with prior dental assisting experience and implant background preferred. Full-time position with standard clinic hours, benefiting from 401(k), employee discounts, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must hold X-ray and CPR certifications.
• Previous dental assisting experience required, implant experience preferred.
• Proficient with dental instruments, sterilization, X-ray/CT imaging, impressions and model pours.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Assist dentist by passing instruments and managing patient flow.
• Take X-rays and operate imaging equipment as required.
• Provide post-operative instructions and support front office for scheduling.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to become a valuable part of our dedicated team. Key duties include sterilizing instruments and equipment, preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays, assisting the dentist by passing instruments, providing post-operative instructions, helping to manage patient flow and collaborate with the front office for scheduling and keeping track of and organizing lab cases to ensure an efficient process for patients.

Qualifications:

• X-ray and CPR certifications are required
• Previous experience in dental assisting is required with previous dental implant experience/background preferred
• Proficiency in using dental restorative instruments, sterilizing equipment and operating dental X-ray and CT scan machines
• Proficiency in taking impressions and pouring stone models
• Experience with intraoral scanning (iTero) preferred
• Full Time

Office hours 7:30 – 4:30 Monday -Thursday
