Job summary

Ocean County Oral and Maxillofacial in New Jersey is seeking a skilled dental assistant to join our growing, fun team. You will seat patients, take medical histories, assist in oral surgery procedures including general anesthesia, and document patient encounters in an EMR system.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families on pre- and post-operative instructions and ensuring proper sterilization of all instruments according to protocol.

Qualifications

• X-ray license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior experience as an oral surgery assistant.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in an EMR system.
• Assist in oral surgery procedures, including general anesthesia cases.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative instructions.
