Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Coronal Polish Certified Dental Assistant to join a team focused on delivering best-in-class patient care. The role supports clinicians, prepares patients, and helps maintain a safe and efficient operatory in Murfreesboro, TN.

The position requires dental assisting certification (or on-the-job training), CPR, radiography certification, and proficiency with charting and office software. Full-time with standard dental office hours.

Qualifications

  • Certification in dental assisting or on-the-job training accepted.
  • CPR certification required and radiography/x-ray certification per state.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentist during restorative procedures and prepare patients for treatment.
  • Prepare trays, sterilize instruments, and maintain asepsis per OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

  • Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
  • Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient.
