Job summary

Douglas Herrera DDS MSCD PA in Miami is seeking a part-time dental assistant to support the doctor chairside, prep rooms, sterilize, and handle X-rays/CBCTs, as well as assist with ordering from vendors. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service, dental office experience, familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA, basic math skills, and works well in a team with solid references.

You will present treatment plans chairside, collect copays, schedule appointments, document care, and answer phones

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside and set up rooms.

Small endodontics office is looking for a part time assistant
It could be from 10 am to 5 pm or/and 4 days/week

What you will be doing?

• Assist the doctor chair side (helping the main assistant or assisting the doctor directly); setting up rooms, doing sterilization, taking X-rays/CBCTs, ordering from vendors, providers, etc.
• Assist in presenting treatment plans chairside during consultations (collect copayments, making appointments, etc.)
• Assist in documentation
• Assist in answering the phone when the front desk is on lunch or busy

What are we looking for?

• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous dental office experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with HIPPA, OSHA, infection control regulations
• Have basic mathematical skills
• A team player with good references
