Job summary

Aspen Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in McMinnville, Oregon. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a leading dental service organization.

You will assist clinicians during procedures, take x-rays, and ensure operatory readiness and cleanliness. You’ll contribute to patient education and smooth patient flow across the practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by state (including x-ray certification if required).
• Excellent communication and patient-care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
