EXCEL DENTAL is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join our Massachusetts practice. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and committed to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA Dental Assistant License.
• Radiology Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• HIPPA/OSHA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Demonstrate dental terminology, instruments, maintenance and tray setups.
• Chair side assisting during dental procedures.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide patient instructions on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Prepare, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain infection control per CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
• Manage dental supply inventory and other duties.

Essential Responsibilities: (Not a Complete List)

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and proper tray setups.
• Chair side assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide patient instructions and education on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and provide instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory & perform other job related duties
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
